Our Kids Calendar 2019

The Northern Rivers Children's Health Fund was originally founded by Dr Chris Ingall in 2001. Our Kids raises money for the Lismore Hospital Children's Ward. One of the fundraisers is the Our Kids Calendar which helps to raise funds for paediatric equipment. Goonellabah Medical Centre is a sponsor of the our Kids Calendar and this year has the page for September 2019.

Our House

Our House is a joint project with the Northern Rivers Community Cancer Foundation and Our Kids.Our House is a purpose built accommodation to assist patients who are requiring treatment at the Lismore Cancer Unit, along with their carers or family members.Its proximity to Lismore Base Hospital makes it a perfect accommodation facility for the patients. Goonellabah Medical Centre volunteer to help with regular BBQ evenings at Our House.
 
 

Ballina to Byron Bay Charity Walk

Goonellabah Medical Centre supports the the Westpac Helicopter Rescue Service each year in the Ballina to Byron Charity Walk. The walk  began at Missingham Park in Ballina - then along the coast to Lennox Head, Broken Head, Tallows Beach and finally Cape Byron. It was a fun day as you can see by our photos - and we raised funds for the worthy Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter.. The walk includes beach, tracks and road walking with magnificent scenery of the coastal strip along the way.
