Megan Landers is an AHPRA registered psychologist and an Adjunct Associate Professor with the School of Applied Psychology, Griffith University, QLD. Megan holds an Honours Degree and PhD in Psychology, is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society, and is an approved provider under Medicare, DVA, NDIS, and other insurance schemes such as NRMA, EML etc.  Megan works with adolescents and adults to help manage a range of psychological issues, including depression, anxiety, interpersonal conflict and/or distress, work-related challenges, grief and loss, adjustment to chronic illness, life and career role transitions, and behaviour change (promoting healthy behaviour in relation to smoking, alcohol consumption, physical activity and nutrition). Megan has held teaching and research positions at leading national universities over the past 16 years. In her academic role she is responsible for the professional and research training of undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students. Megan’s therapeutic approach is solution-focused and draws on a number of evidence-based techniques, including: acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and exposure-based therapy.

Toby Wilson is a Psychologist with many years of experience helping individuals experiencing workplace conflict, post traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, inter-personal relationship conflict, grief and loss, chronic illness and physical injuries.

He holds a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours and is a AHPRA Registered Psychologist and member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Incorporated (AAPI). He is also a Nationally Accredited Mediator. 

He is accredited to provide psychological services under: WorkCover, NDIS, Commcare, DVA and Medicare schemes. He is a supportive therapist who utilises the following counselling techniques: cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, exposure based therapy, motivational interviewing, goal setting utilising SMART goal principles, grief and loss and assertiveness training.

In addition, he provides NDIS psycho-social behavioural needsassessments for Supported Independent Living (SIL) and is accredited to provide mediation services in regard to workplace disputes under WorkCover. 

He has also provided organisational psychology assessments and reports for large corporations. He has provided psychometric assessment services and is experienced in the utilisation of psychometric tools. He has developed and presented group based psycho-education and mood management strategies in both corporate and disability settings.

He was a board member and then chairman of One Vision Productions from 2015-2020. One Vision Productions is a not-for-profit organisation giving voice to the disadvantaged youth of Australia through introducing arts based multi-literacy programs to isolated and marginalised communities.

 


Helen Hanslow
Helen Hanslow is a clinical hypnotherapist and neurolinguistic programming practitioner. Helen works with children, teenagers and adults. She has 20 years experience in both Government and community sectors. Helen works at Goonellabah Medical Centre on Mondays and Fridays.
